While pubs in Wales are now allowed to open outdoors, unfortunately we feel it isn't viable for us.
We have a lovely little garden out the back, and benches to enjoy our view at the front. However when you combine capacity with the famously unpredictable weather up here, and in the interests of trying to ensure we are in a position to open indoors when allowed, we have decided to remain closed.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused and we look forward to hopefully opening our doors to you again soon!
OUR LITTLE ABODE
Where a warm welcome
One of Wales’ oldest pubs, The Fforest Inn was originally built in the 16th century as a Drovers inn. Steeped in history and recently renovated, it still retains many of its original features but now compliments them with a comfortable, welcoming environment.
Food is served from Wednesday through to Sunday and while it changes regularly recent menus can be seen here.
Do call if you have any questions or specific requirements.
DOG FRIENDLY: please note that well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area. Tables are limited, so please let us know if you intend to bring a dog.

We are proud of our traditional pub food menus, all made in-house using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
